2024 Election Information

Voter Registration

Register to vote online at https://voter.svrs.nj.gov/register at the Superintendent of Election’s Office or Evesham Municipal Clerk’s office or with a paper application from VOTE.NJ.GOV.


The deadline to register to vote AND participate in the 2024 General Election is October 15, 2024.

Early In-Person Voting

Early Voting Week for the General Election is October 26 through November 3, 2024

  • During the early voting week, voters can vote in person using a  voting machine at any early voting location in Burlington County between  10 AM and 8 PM (6 PM on Sundays). 
  • MARLTON – Gibson House Community Center, 535 E Main St
  • MOUNT LAUREL – Rowan College at Burlington County, Student Success Center, Executive Conference Room 138, 1500 College Circle
  • MEDFORD – Medford Township Municipal Building, 49 Union Street
  • CHESTERFIELD – Chesterfield Township Municipal Building, 295 Bordentown-Chesterfield Road
  • PEMBERTON – Pemberton Community Library, 16 Broadway Street, Browns Mills
  • TABERNACLE – Tabernacle Rescue Squad, 134 New Road
  • WILLINGBORO – Willingboro Public Library, Meeting Room, 220 Campbell Drive

Voting by Mail

New Jersey is a no-excuse vote-by-mail state, meaning anyone, for  any or no reason, can request a vote-by-mail ballot. This is helpful  for anyone who travels frequently, is at an out-of-town college, has  childcare or work schedule challenges, lacks transportation, or  otherwise has difficulty voting in person.


To receive a ballot in the mail: Apply for a vote-by-mail ballot no later than October 29th by following instructions found at VOTE.NJ.GOV or by contacting the Burlington County Clerk’s office, Monday-Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM at 609-265-5229 or votebymail@co.burlington.nj.us


To receive a ballot in person, or between October 29 and November 4, 2024:  Apply for a ballot in person at the Burlington County Clerk’s office,  50 Rancocas Road, Mt. Holly, no later than 3 PM on November 4th.


Damaged/Lost/Incorrectly marked ballots: If you  damage, lose, or incorrectly fill out your ballot, contact the  Burlington County Clerk’s office, Monday-Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM at  609-265-5229 or votebymail@co.burlington.nj.us

How to return your vote-by-mail ballot 

  • Mail it (no postage necessary, must be postmarked by November 5th)
  • Place it in a Burlington County Board of Elections Secure Drop-Box.  
    • The nearest one for Evesham residents is at the main entrance of the  Evesham Township Municipal Building at 984 Tuckerton Road. Must be  placed in the drop box no later than 8 PM on November 5th.
  • Deliver it in person to the Burlington County Board of Elections  office, 301 Harper Road, Moorestown, no later than 8 PM on November 5th.

Voting on Election Day

The General Election is on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. 


Polls open between 6 AM and 8 PM. If you are in line by 8 PM, you are eligible to vote.


You can find your polling location at https://voter.svrs.nj.gov/polling-place-search and on the sample ballot that will arrive in the mail 1-2 weeks before election day.

 

Voter ID

New Jersey only requires voters to provide identification in order  to register to vote. If you did not provide ID when registering, you may  be asked to show ID at your polling place.
